About This Role

The Restaurant Business Manager is accountable for the restaurant’s commercial and operational performance, driving profitability, operational excellence, brand standards, and exceptional guest experience through strong leadership and sound business judgment. Key Responsibilities Operations & Quality Control Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service. Maintain adherence to recipes, portion control, and food quality standards. Ensure product availability, proper display, and effective merchandising. Financial & Commercial Management Deliver sales targets, customer growth, and profitability. Control labour, food, and operating costs within budget. Ensure accurate sales recording, cash handling, and timely reporting. Review financial reports and implement growth initiatives. Support local marketing and in-store promotions. People Management & Leadership Enforce grooming, dress code, and hygiene standards. Coach and develop staff to drive performance and accountability. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and manage discipline per company policy. Inventory & Cost Control Enforce inventory control procedures. Minimize waste, losses, and stock variances. Customer Experience & Brand Standards Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand compliance. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field. Proven leadership experience in restaurant, FMCG, or retail operations. Strong financial management and cost control skills. Expertise in inventory management and waste reduction. Ability to implement SOPs and maintain quality standards. Solid knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements. Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
